The Guy and Gloria Muto Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc.

The Guy and Gloria Muto Memorial Scholarship Foundation was established in the memory of one of our industry's greatest pioneers and teachers to enable members of the Pool and Spa Industry to continue their education and to increase their level of professionalism. It is Foundation's goal to grant annual awards to selected individuals from those applicants engaged in any manner in the Pool and Spa Industry or their immediate family members for education purposes, whether that education be an academic course, certification program, a trade or technical course or other educational program. Guy A. Muto, (1915-1989), spent 37 years in the Pool and Spa Industry and, as he used to remind us, "Everyone owes a portion of their time and money to the industry from which they derive their livelihood". During his 37 years in the Industry, both Guy and Gloria contributed greatly to the betterment of the Pool and Spa Industry, by devoting their time, expertise and energy. It is in this spirit that this Scholarship Foundation has been established as a perpetual memorial to Guy and Gloria.
